How to Create RFC destination in SAP ?

RFC Destination is a communication network between two different SAP Systems, follow below steps to create RFC destination.

Step1: Go to SM59 transaction.

Step2: Select ‘ABAP Connections’, click on create icon.

Step3: Provide RFC destination name, description and press enter.

Step4: Provide ‘Target host’, ‘system number’, select ‘hostname’ radio button and click on save.

Step5: Go to Logon & Security tab, provide language, target client, username in target system, password.

A popup will come, just press enter.

Step6: Save, follow below steps to test connection.

Click on ‘Connection Test’ to test the connection.

If you click on ‘Connection Test’, the below screen will come.

Click on remote logon to test remote logon.
