Using SAP memory to call standard transaction

Call a transaction and pass parameter to input field of a SAP transaction

+ -
The main use of SAP memory is to call standard screen or custom screens along with parameters.
Syntax : CALL TRANSACTION .

By using above syntax we can call a transaction (T-code), sometimes we may need to pass parameters to screen elements of transactions, we use below syntax to pass parameters to screen fields.

Syntax :
SET PARAMETER ID '' FIELD '' .
         CALL TRANSACTION .

Some times we may need to skip input screen and display details directly, syntax for this is,

Syntax: SET PARAMETER '' FIELD ''. "set parameter value to the screen field
CALL TRANSACTION AND SKIP FIRST SCREEN .

Example of using SAP memory with call transaction

Call MM03 transaction and display a material from ABAP program.

REPORTĀ  ZSAPN_SAP_MEMORY.
SET PARAMETER ID 'MAT' FIELD '470000-001' . " 'MAT' is the parameter id of material input in MM03
CALL TRANSACTION 'MM03' AND SKIP FIRST SCREEN .
